Holiday Schedule Update: Binbrook class is cancelled on December 18, 2018.  There will be no Binbrook class next week.

Holiday Party!
We will have a joint (all club location) Holiday Party on December 20, 2018 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at Valley Park.
Don’t miss this special Christmas party for everyone. Come and join the fun and games
Pot luck:  Kindly bring some snacks or any food to share with everybody.

We have invited Santa from the North Pole!  Hopefully he can make it to our party!

Grading and Holiday Schedule

Grading is scheduled tonight for Binbrook Hall and Thursday night for Valley Park
Please bring some snacks to share with everybody!
2018 Holiday Schedule:
Binbrook’s last day will be December 18, 2018 and back on January 8, 2019.
Valley Park last day will be December 20, 2018 and back on January 10, 2019.

Karate classes start  at Valley Park this week and held on Thursdays at 7:00 pm.

Binbrook classes are currently in session and are held every Tuesday at 6:00 pm.

Winter Season 2018

We hope that everybody had a safe and a happy summer!

We are proud to announce the opening of Binbrook Memorial Hall classes.  They will run on Tuesdays at 6:00 – 7:00 PM starting September 4, 2018.

We will be closed for the Binbrook Fair on Sept. 11, 2018.

Valley Park classes will start on September 20 and will run every Thursday night from 7:00 -8:00 PM.

Summer season is ending

I hope that everybody is enjoying their summer and keeping cool 😎!

Summer classes

Karate classes in Binbrook will end on July 17, 2018 and Valley Park will be closed at the end of July 2018.

Winter season classes will start:

– Binbrook on Sept. 4, 2018 at 6:00 pm

– Valley Park on Sept. 6, 2018 at 7:00 pm

– Studio D start date TBD

Grading:
Just a reminder that grading is around the corner:
  • Binbrook Memorial Hall: June 5,  6PM to 7PM
  • Valley Park: June 7, 7PM to 8PM
To celebrate the new belts, cookies, snacks and drinks to share with everybody is appreciated!
 
Studio D Classes:
There will be no class on June 1.  Studio D’s last class is June 29, 2018.
 
Summer Classes:
Summer classes start the first week of July 2018:
  • Binbrook Memorial Hall: July 3, 6PM to 7PM
  • Valley Park: July 5, 7PM to 8PM
  • Studio D: No summer classes

New Friday Bo (Staff) Class Added for Advanced Belts

New classes for advanced belts are starting in April and will run the last Friday of every month.  Starting  April 27th, “Bo Classes” (staff) will begin running at Studio D. Please bring your Bo or improvise by using a broom stick as tall as you or few inches longer.  Mark the center of the Bo with magic marker or any tape.  Let Sensei Joe or Lou know if you are coming.  See you there!
Also… Welcome back Sheilah Logan, 1st dan!  We are very much excited to have a familiar face back at the club.  Please give Sheilah a warm welcome when you see her!

Easter Egg Hunt and Karate Demonstration March 30, 2018

Please join us on March 30th for an Easter Egg Hunt and karate demonstration at Binbrook Ball Field!
Please be there at 9:30 AM.  The demonstration is expected to finish around 11:00 AM.  Easter Egg hunts may follow.  See the below poster for more information.
All students must wear their white gi (uniform) and bring their sparring gear for kumite.  Students may bring friends and family to show them what we have learned over the last few months or years!
