Summer season is ending

I hope that everybody is enjoying their summer and keeping cool ūüėé!

Summer classes

Karate classes in Binbrook will end on July 17, 2018 and Valley Park will be closed at the end of July 2018.

Winter season classes will start:

– Binbrook on Sept. 4, 2018 at 6:00 pm

– Valley Park on Sept. 6, 2018 at 7:00 pm

– Studio D start date TBD

Just a reminder that grading is around the corner:
  • Binbrook Memorial Hall:¬†June 5,¬† 6PM to 7PM
  • Valley Park: June 7,¬†7PM to 8PM
To celebrate the new belts, cookies, snacks and drinks to share with everybody is appreciated!
Studio D Classes:
There will be no¬†class on¬†June 1.¬†¬†Studio D’s last class is¬†June 29, 2018.
Summer Classes:
Summer classes start the first week of July 2018:

  • Valley Park:¬†July 5, 7PM to 8PM
  • Studio D: No summer classes

New Friday Bo (Staff) Class Added for Advanced Belts

New classes for advanced belts are starting in April and will run the last Friday of every month.¬† Starting¬†¬†April 27th, “Bo Classes” (staff) will begin running at Studio D. Please bring your Bo or improvise by using a broom stick as tall as you or few inches longer.¬† Mark the center of the Bo with magic marker or any tape.¬† Let Sensei Joe or Lou know if you are coming.¬† See you there!

Easter Egg Hunt and Karate Demonstration March 30, 2018

Please join us on March 30th for an Easter Egg Hunt and karate demonstration at Binbrook Ball Field!
Please be there at 9:30 AM.  The demonstration is expected to finish around 11:00 AM.  Easter Egg hunts may follow.  See the below poster for more information.
All students must wear their white gi (uniform) and bring their sparring gear for kumite.  Students may bring friends and family to show them what we have learned over the last few months or years!

Shintani Wado Kai Karate Federation

Registration for membership with the Shintani Wado Kai Karate Federation (SWKKF) is approaching quickly.
