Due to the severe weather conditions class will be cancelled this evening. Classes that are missed due to PA Days or weather conditions may be made up at any other class location. See the class schedule for class times and location.

Please find below a list of the schedule updates for the Winter 2015 Season.
Schedule Changes (No classes):
- February 16, 2015 – Family Day
- February 20, 2015 – PA Day at Janet Lee*
- March 16 – 20, 2015 – March Break
- March 27, 2015 – PA Day at Janet Lee*
- April 3, 2015 (Holiday)
*NOTE: On Janet Lee PA days there will be combined Janet Lee/Studio D classes held at 6:30 – 8:30 at Studio D. Studio D 8:30 – 9:30PM classes are cancelled on Janet Lee PA days.
Classes that are missed for any reason including PA Days, holidays or weather conditions may be made up at any other class location during the same week.

Holiday Schedule 2014
From our family to yours, J.R.’s Karate Club wishes you a joyous holiday season and health, joy, and peace throughout the New Year!
J.R.’s Karate Club will be on holidays from December 22, 2014 to January 5, 2015. No classes will be held during this time. Classes will resume January 6, 2015.
Please be reminded that the Sherwood Park location will be retired as of December 19, 2014. Sherwood Park classes will resume at our new Arvin Avenue location with updated schedule times. Click here to see the Winter Class Schedule.
2014 Year End Grading Schedule
Binbrook students will be graded on December 9, 2014 at the regular scheduled class.
Sherwood Park Monday and Wednesday students will be graded on December 10, 2014 at the regular scheduled class.
Valley Park and Janet Lee students will be graded on December 11, 2014 at Valley Park at 6:45 PM.
Sherwood Park Friday Advanced class students will be graded on December 13, 2014 at Sherwood Park at 10:00 AM.
Dance and Karate Demonstration at 515 Arvin Ave Location December 12, 2014
J.R.’s Karate Club together with Lois Laxton Dance Studio would like to invite you, your friends and your family to a free Karate and Dance demonstration at the new Arvin Avenue dojo location. The demonstration will consist of students from J.R.’s Karate Club providing a karate demonstration to the the Laxton Dance students and the Laxton Dance students providing a dance demonstration to the karate students. The purpose of this demonstration is to encourage physical activity and all students will participate in both demonstrations. There is no charge for this event.

Friday, December 12, 2014 between 7:00 – 9:00 PM.

Sherwood Park Dojo is Moving!
Starting January 2015, J.R.’s Karate Club Sherwood Park Dojo has a new home!
Sherwood Park Dojo classes are moving to:
The last class at Sherwood Park Dojo will be held on December 19, 2014.
Arvin Avenue classes (formerly Sherwood Park classes) will begin at the new location on January 6, 2015 @ 6:30 – 7:30 PM.
Arvin Avenue 2015 Class Schedule:
Monday night is 5:00 to 6:00 pm
Wednesday is 6:30 to 7:30 pm
Friday Advance 8:30 to 9:30 pm
All other class locations and schedule remain unchanged.

Reminder: Fall Inter-Club Karate Tournament – November 29, 2014
Friendly reminder that the Inter-Club Tournament is tomrrow.
Location: Sherwood Park Dojo (Stoney Creek)
Tournament Fees:
- Registration: $35.00 (must be in by November 21, 2014)
- Spectator entry: $5.00 each
Doors open at 9:00 AM. Competition starts at 10:00 AM.
Mandatory equipment includes head protection, hand protection, mouth guard and jock.

PA Day at Janet Lee School on November 21, 2014
Hi Everyone,
The school board has made a change to our schedule. There will be no class at Janet Lee School due to a scheduled PA Day on November 21, 2014. There is a class at Sherwood Park Dojo that night from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Everyone is welcomed to join.
Regularly scheduled classes will be in full operation tomorrow as per usual.
