This tournament is your opportunity to showcase everything you’ve been working on over the past few months. Step onto the floor with confidence and take pride in your progress.
Please remember that this is a single-elimination format: if you win, you advance to the finals; if you lose your first match, you are out of the tournament.
For kata, focus on accuracy, strong delivery, and a clear kiai. Stay composed and do not stop in the middle of your kata, no matter what happens.
Do your best in both divisions and stay focused throughout.
Also, please ensure you bring all required sparring equipment, including your mouth guard and jock. If you still need to purchase any equipment, please do so as soon as possible.
Tournament Notes

Kata:
- Must be traditional forms (no music)
- Must be belt-appropriate (e.g., no black belt katas for kyu belt competitors)
- Scored using WKC scoring
Kumite:
- Full sparring equipment required: helmet, gloves, boots, mouth guard
- No low techniques, no back techniques, no face contact, and no heavy contact
- Match format:
- Black belts: 5-point matches
- Kyu belts: 3-point matches
Kobudo:
- Must be traditional forms (no music)
- No releases
