Rental Permit still pending with the City

Hi Everyone,

I know that everyone is very anxious to get back to karate. At this time, the City of Hamilton have asked us to remain patient as they figure out the logistics of reopening city rentals during this fourth wave and have not yet cleared us to do so. I will continue to follow-up with them for status updates. We will definitely open as soon as we get permission from the city.

Thank you for your continued patience in this matter.

Yours truly,

Sensei Joe

Reopen postponed until July 2021

I hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy!

We had intended to reopen the club on April, 2021; however, at this time, Hamilton remains in the red zone and health concerns are on the rise. Because of this, we had to make the difficult decision to remain closed and postpone our reopen. We hope that we are able welcome everyone back again in July 2021 when hopefully we have successfully flattened the curve. Our main priority remains the health and safety of our fellow students and teachers.

Please contact me should you have any questions or concerns.

Stay safe,

Sensei Joe

J.R.’s Karate Club Reopen Update

We appreciate your patience during this uncertain time.

Our start date of resuming classes has been postponed. We are waiting for the City of Hamilton to confirm an open date for us. We will send an update to you the moment we are notified.

We anticipate that space will be very limited. Due to COVID-19 we are anticipating restrictions on the number of people permitted into the building as well as other new changes that are expected to be relayed to us in time. If you haven’t done so yet, kindly email/call us to notify us of your intentions to join or postpone your return.

We look forward to seeing you again in the dojo. In the meantime, stay safe!
